CRD-HHP

Center of Research and Development Development in Herbal Health Product (CRD-HHP)

The CRD-HHP is 1 of 17 research Centers of Excellence established in Khon Kaen University . Its purpose is to develop effective research centers producing quality research projects, concentrating academic experts and assisting in doing quality research with continuity in the form of the specific research center. The main duties are :

(1) To increase herb and herbal health product research for more effective commercial development.
(2) To increase each organizations research network which focuses on quality, efficiency and product safety.
(3) To support the research in the institute for more efficiency and increase the research output which is useful for commercial health products.
(4) To support Master degree students by promoting their research.
(5) To register herbal product patents.

Commercial products from our research institute to date are rice bran cream, citronella grass cream, turmeric lotion, aloe vela lotion and glycerin soap.

• To cooperate with provincial development to evaluate problems.
• To develop the process of OTOP products.
