Research

Our Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences has the target of researching for new knowledge in pharmaceutical and the health development.. Some current areas of research are :

Herbal development and research to extract important derivatives from herbs, and to study active compounds of herbal plants and their biological action, Quality control is used to set the standards of medical herbal plants, and to research and develop the pharmaceutical products from herbs and to develop herbal tissue transplantation.

Biological pharmacy research is used to study medicine transport in many different ways, to validate drug preparations, to develop pharmacopeias, to investigate pharmacokinetics, asymmetric in biological way of pharmacopeias and pharmacogenomics.

Outcome Research to estimate the outcome from food, medicine and cosmetic consumption. It also covers pharmaceutical services, clinical, economic and humanistic consequences.

Research of healthcare systems assesses the public policy for health, planning, estimating and controlling healthcare projects, techniques of upgrading quality, estimating and controlling funds, organization behavior and strategic management.

The staff of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences are granted scholarships for both domestic and international study, for example the scholarship for supporting research departments, the scholarship for supporting health departments, the Healthcare System Research Institute, the project of developing new researchers of University of Khon Kaen, and scholarships for research from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
